Naming Party for Nicholas

As I was a new-born bear, my classmates held a naming party for me. All of them were divided into four groups and each of the groups came up with a name for me. They had to write down the name and the reason they gave me the name on the naming card. Although they seldom wrote in English, they worked hard to do some research for my names.

At the naming party, I was honored to have two excellent hosts: Eric and Scoot. They prepared for the party for three days and they would like to make the p0arty lively and warm. The four groups took turns introducing the names they came up with, including Lee, Moore, Environment, and Nicholas. All of the names had profound meanings and my classmates’ best wishes for me. You could refer to the naming cards in my journal. I have to say I was pretty moved when I saw what they had done for me.

Every group was eager to win the votes to be my name-givers. The supporters of Lee yelled and encouraged the other classmates to vote for Lee during the election. However, the class voted for Nicholas presented by Irose’s team. They all agree that the name best represents me and their expectations on me. After the significant ceremony of giving me the name Nicholas, the winner and I took the pictures together with the funny hosts. You will certainly like the video we took during the ceremony.

I had a memorable today. To my great joy, I felt strong love and determination from my classmates in 100 Class B Mechanical Drafting Department, Kaohsiung Industrial High school. I’m leaving them soon and starting my tour to three different schools in Taiwan: Kaohsiung Commercial High School, Taipei First Girls High School, and eventually Taitung Senior High School. Hope my lovely classmates will visit me on my blogs often.
